Who is a typical client?

Robinett Bookkeeping was set up to address the common scenario of the entrepreneur running a successful business either undertaking the task of bookkeeping alone or placing it in the hands of their costly accountant. Neither of these approaches is ideal; the entrepreneur’s time is far better spent in their area of expertise – growing the business - and to pay an accountant’s fees for bookkeeping work is an extremely expensive way to get the task completed.

However you currently manage your bookkeeping – maybe with a detailed spreadsheet or a shoebox full of receipts, it is an unavoidable task and an inevitable cost of doing business. Robinett aims to make life easier for you, in the most efficient and cost effective manner.  

I already have an accountant, so why do I need Robinett?

Our job is not to replace your accountant. We leave the tasks of taxation and auditing to them while we carry out the bookkeeping functions we specialise in. Our cost-effective off-site service deals with your paperwork away from the office, delivering to you accurate, detailed and straightforward reports and files for use by both you and your accountant.

How does the service work??

Without needing to provide any desk space or employ a single member of accounting staff, your business can enjoy all the benefits of a full-time accounts department. We manage your books by receiving documents by post or fax, or scanned and emailed to us. On receipt, your data is processed and your records updated, so we can provide you with reports such as financial statements and aged debtor and creditor reports on a pre-agreed frequency.

How much does it cost?

Our aim is to provide you with an exceptional yet cost-effective service. Tailored to suit your exact requirements, you decide how much or little support you require. We can then agree a monthly fee that we’re sure will offer the best value solution.

Can you prepare management reports for me?

Absolutely. As we are keeping your books up to date, the information that is compiled can be extremely useful in the running of your business. We can provide you with a variety of reports that will help you assess important trading questions such as:

• When do we need to pay them?
